EMBASSY FILM CLUB

Cathays Youth & Community Centre has started it's very own film club.

JOIN OUR CLUB

The first rule of Film Club is: You MUST talk about film club

Our aim is to create a social event in which people with a mutual enthusiasm for film can meet and share said enthusiasm. We believe the more members the merrier, making for lively discussion and plenty of films to share. Invite friends and family, colleagues and passersby.

The second rule of film club is: DEMOCRACY

Choose the films YOU want to watch

  1. Select a film(s) you LOVE and NEED to share with people
  2. Send your suggestion(s) to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it
  3. All suggestions will be collated by an independent adjudicator (or rather Meurig Hailstone, the master extraordinaire of all things film club)
  4. An email will be sent to all members and by the process of democracy, a vote will be taken to decide the feature film for that month.

The third rule of Film Club is: There are no rules!

Well, there are but nothing beyond a little common sense and human decency (this is merely a reference to one of David Fincher's AND Bradley Pitts greatest onscreen achievements!)

FILM NIGHT

Is the first Wednesday of every month from 6pm

At the moment we have scheduled the film club for the first Wednesday of every month.

Embassy café will be open from 6pm, exclusively for film club members to meet and natter, eat and drink. There will be the usual range of DELICIOUS Embassy Café treats, hot meals, snacks, cakes and beverages.

The film screening will start at 7pm
