We run our own activities at the centre, on a weekly basis (during term-time) which include:


Embassy Youth Club

A place to socialise; Play sports; Play board games & video games; watch TV & films; Listen to music, or make your own music; Learn skills in food preparation & cook your own food each week. 


Cathays Inclusive Youth Provision*

For young people aged 11 to 17 with learning difficulties, and their friends


Under Construction Youth Music Project

Access to fully equipped band practice rooms, DJ equipment, cooking workshops & free food

If you are passionate about music and are willing to dedicate your own time to the project, you could be involved in planning and organising youth music events such as the annual youth music festival, Under Construction Festival.


*When term-time, and the Cathays Inclusive Youth Provision ends, Teenscheme and the Young Adults Programme begins.


We also work in partnership with:

Cardiff City Kingz 
A group of breakers and BBoys who host events big and small for people who REALLY love funk, hip hop, breaking, writing, poppin', lockin', DJing, and MCing

Cathays BBoys
A group who provide breakdance practice sessions, for people of all ages

We are also home to several other groups who hold regular clubs or events at the centre, including:

Wilford School of Dancing
Caryl Wilford established the school over thirty years ago and  many successful students have gone on to major dance colleges and professional dancing and teaching careers.
Caryl is fully qualified teacher holding a Diploma of Dance Education in ballet, tap and modern, CRB checked, offering I.S.T.D ballet, tap and modern examination work, grades and vocational.


Seren Fach Mother & Toddler Group
For six consecutive years, Seren Fach Mother & Toddler Group have hosted their group at the community centre.

New Foundations Home Education
This group is run by a team of home educators, open to kids of all ages, to play sports, do art and socialise with other kids who don’t go to school, while also offering support and d introducing you to other home educating families.

Breakdance4Beginners
BBoy legend Kwam holds classes for those new to breakdance.

Cardiff University Pole Dance Society
Cardiff University Pole Dance Society provides pole dancing classes to their members in a safe, relaxed, social and fun environment, providing individuals an opportunity to improve their strength, flexibility, coordination, confidence, self-esteem as well as providing an opportunity to meet new friends.

Attack! Pro Wrestling
