The Soundscene Youth Music Project at Cathays Community Centre houses two rehearsal rooms that are available for hire.

The rooms are fully equipped* with:

Vocal PA

2 x Microphones, Microphone Leads and Stands

1 x Bass Amplifier

2 x Guitar Amplifiers

Drum Kit (excl. snare drum, bass pedal, cymbals)

Bookings are taken, in advance, in sessions of three hours.

The sessions are priced as follows:

Monday – Friday	1200 – 1500	£15.00
Monday – Friday	1500 – 1800	£15.00
Monday – Friday	1800 – 2100	£18.00
Saturday	1130 – 1430	£18.00
Saturday	1430 – 1730	£18.00
Sunday	1300 – 1600	£18.00
* - Discounts available for school-age bands & musicians. Contact the office for details.

Bookings may be taken provisionally, over the phone, but are only secured on payment of a £5.00 non – returnable deposit.

Evening and weekend sessions are understandably very popular. We recommend booking at least a week in advance to avoid disappointment.

* - Soundscene reserve the right to alter the contents of the practice rooms at any time. Additional equipment may be loaned from the project at no extra cost, subject to availability.
