Youth Provision

Cathays youth clubs are run by Cardiff County Youth Services working in partnership with the Community Centre’s Inclusive Youth Provision, 'Soundscene Youth Music Project', and the Outdoor Learning Centre at Cathays High School (CALCELLA).

There are three evening youth club sessions a week: Monday, Thursday and Friday from 6.30 to 9.00pm. The youth programme on Monday and Thursday evenings cater for secondary school aged young people, and are open access, socially based. On Fridays the club is fully inclusive by catering for young people aged 13-19, with learning and other disabilities and supported by young volunteers.

Sunday youth club runs from 4.00 to 6.30pm and offers a programme focused on music and arts. 'Soundscene'.

In addition the youth clubs are involved in many special projects, trips, events, including summer holiday schemes, music festivals, workshops and residential trips away from the centre.
