Youth Clubs Cardiff

We provide fun and friendly youth clubs in Cardiff for both youth members, young adults, and those with learning difficulties and disabilities. Timetable and details of each club are below:

All youth clubs charge £1.00 entry following which all facilities are free. Also they have youth member committees who provide representation on CCYCP management board and various youth forums in Cardiff.

Embassy Youth Club (Monday)

For young people aged 14 to 25,

  • Get involved in some informal learning such as ‘British Sign Language’ or ‘Getting on at work’ or any others you would like to do!
  • Take part in cooking, arts and crafts, sports and trips out!
  • Get involved in community participation and volunteering and gain a qualification!
  • Gain accreditation to use on your CV!
  • C-Card scheme coming soon!
  • Or just relax using our pool tables, social area, and FREE WIFI

Manga Club (Monday)

For young people for age 11 to 25, mainly on the autism spectrum, but is open to everyone who enjoys drawing, playing board/card games, talking about films and making films. This club runs along side Embassy Youth Club.

  

 

Youth Club (Thursday)

For young people aged 10 to 16, on Thursdays from 6 pm to 8.30pm. The club offers a social meeting place and plenty to do including:

  • pool,
  • table tennis,
  • cooking,
  • arts,
  • music,
  • C-Card scheme coming soon
  • and more. 

   

Inclusive Youth Provision (IYP)

Provides a similar programme to the Embassy youth club but caters mainly for young people with learning disabilities and their peer group volunteers. The club meets on Friday evenings from 6.30pm. More details.

We are now also supported by the Co-op whereby if you have a Co-op card, if you log on to your account and select your nominated charity, we will be on there as an option! If you select us then 1% of the cost of your shopping will be donated to us, but if you cannot choose one then the 1% donation will be split between all three charities! Teenscheme & Young Adults Provision (YAP)

During school holidays, we run Teenscheme for young people aged 11 to 17, and Young Adults Provision (YAP) for ages 18 to 25.

 

 

Under Construction Youth Music Project Youth Club

For young people aged 11 to 25, we meet on Saturday afternoons 2.30pm to 4.30 pm and everyone has access to band practice rooms and Studio 2 recording studio and is the social base for the bigger music project, Under Construction. See www.underconstruction.org.uk.

Whether it’s performace, practising, recording, producing or learning our Under Construction Youth Club is for you!

We have:

  • 2 music rehearsal spaces, fully equipped with drums, guitars, basses and amps.
  • A well-equipped recording studio and production room
  • Tuition in drums, bass, guitar, keyboard and piano
  • Monthly gigs organised by young people. If you’re interested in event planning this is a great place to start!

Event management

Young people are encouraged to get involved with fundraising gigs that are open to the public. The Under Construction Youth Music Project holds regular gigs and performance nights where young people are at the heart of organising, publicising and performing. (You might even be able to get qualified!)
